Stadium for Cornwall – your chance to support it!

Cornwall’s National Sport of Rugby Union has been crying out for a modern stadium to provide it’s fantastically skilled rugby players, and superb supporters the best possible arena to play in and watch the sport. That Cornwall is one of the only major areas of the country without any sort of modern sports stadium is a total scandal. Very shortly, Cornwall County Council’s planning department is to decide on which Planning Application to recommend for a site near Truro. If the Inox enabling proposal at Langarth is chosen, it would allow a brand new stadium with a capacity for up to 10,000 supporters will be given the go ahead to be built. It will be the new home for Cornish Pirates rugby club, potentially Truro City FC, and also host many county games with undoubted benefits for all Cornish rugby clubs and many other sports as it will have a 3G pitch. Please sign the petition given at the link below to register your support for the scheme AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
