Programme Finalised For Cornwall Connections Conference

This Saturday sees the Institute of Cornish Studies’ first Conference outside of Cornwall, as, in conjunction with Royal Holloway, University of London’s Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, a one day event ‘Cornwall Connections’ will take place at that esteemed university in Egham, Surrey.

The day will open with registration at 9:30am with complimentary refreshments, with the first presentation taking place in the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences at 10:00am. Delegates will have the opportunity to tour the university’s historic Thomas Holloway Chapel and quadrangles during lunch and also browse Francis Boutles publications stall and the Cornish Migration Stall in the foyer. A really fascinating day is ahead!

    Would have come along but prior engagement stopped me…hope it is/was a good day. Lovely to see Cornwall being so well championed outside the motherland!
